Lockdown 5 proved to be a great day of submission grappling once again.
Lockdown 5 ran the Colts division for the first time, with teenagers from the age of 13-16, showing off their talents in wrestling, submission grappling and jiu-jitsu.
The day showcased that gyms and competitors are taking Lockdown seriously with wrestlers emerging with obvious signs that they have trained, showcasing some supreme feats of fitness and skill (who saw that flying armbar?).
Lockdown is a great opportunity for enthusiasts and professionals to get in the cage and have a go in a safe and still highly competitive setting.
Once again, Lockdown 5 was officiated by MMAA judges and referees, as well as help from Shindo head coach, Kerry Dunne.
Lockdown 6 is booked in for November 3rd – so start training, because it's getting bigger each time!
