Over the weekend, the Colts MMA boys went down to the Gold Coast with coaches Ross Cameron and Craig Lankester and competed in their first tournament, the Junior Mixed Martial Arts League.
The team consists Joshua Rice, Jackson Farrell, James Vrutocky, Jeckai Casey, Tomas Farrell. Craig Lankester, a professional cage fighter, have been training them for 3-4 months on a variety skills ranging from ground work to striking skills.
The boys did extremely well for their first competition and came home with two gold medals and three silvers.
