Very knowledgeable trainer who spends hours on the mat learning all he possibly can from the best, so he can pass that onto his students.

Wrestling and Judo are combat sports involving grappling techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds.
How to approach, clinch/control and takedown an opponent is an incredibly important part of MMA and BJJ.
Wrestling and Judo are at their core very similar; the goal is to take your opponent to the ground and either pin, stun or submit them. In application they have many similarities, but also have many significant differences. Most notable of these is attire. Judo is generally practiced in a Gi unlike wrestling, but most techniques are able to be transitioned for no Gi usage.
We train both disciplines in individual classes and also as part of MMA + BJJ classes. We emphasise takedown training as a key component of grappling skill & competition both on mats and in the cage. Classes will work to develop technique, speed, power and timing.
Equipment: Gi & Belt, Rashie (Shirt) and MMA shorts, Wrestling boots (in applicable classes).
