Dirk Van der Kamp had his 1st MMA fight on the Gold Coasts MMA Challenge tonight. He lost by figure 4 submission with only 1 second left in the 1st round. He was up against a more experienced opponent in Five Rings Dojo’s Tye Brown
Tye came out with a superman punch which hit Dirk on the shoulder giving Tye the chance to shoot and take Dirk to the ground. Dirk worked well for the ground but after loads of pressure Tye was able to get the figure 4 resulting in Dirk tapping out.
